Elegant vase with red thistles. Daum Frères, Nancy circa 1900. Colourless, transparent glass, overlaid in yellow and red, frosted, etched, gold painted and iridescent. Under the bottom signed «Daum Nancy» with gold cross of Lorraine.

Daum Frères, Nancy um 1900. Farbloses, transparentes Glas, gelb und rot überfangen, mattiert, geätzt, goldstaffiert und irisierend. Runder, eingezogener Standring, gedrückt gebauchter Korpus in hohen, konisch zulaufenden Hals übergehend. Auf der Wandung filigrane Darstellung rot blühender Disteln. Unter dem Boden sign. «Daum Nancy» mit Lothringer Goldkreuz. H. 22, D. 7,5 cm.
