Demokratische Republik Kongo wohl Mitte 20. Jh. oder früher. Bein, geschnitzt. Flachplastische Darstellung eines Gesichtes mit kleinen, runden, geschnitzten Ornamenten. Augen und Mund oval und geöffnet, mit langem, schmalem Nasensteg. Altersspuren. H. 19,5, B. 12,5 cm.
Provenienz: in den 1970er Jahren aus der Sammlung eines kongolesischen Lehrers erworben, welcher 20 Jahre bei den Lega unterrichtete; seitdem deutsche Privatsammlung.
