Prunkvoller Faltfächer mit mythologischen Darstellungen und Grotesken
Wohl Österreich um 1880. Gouache über Bleistift auf Pergament, Perlmutt, partiell graviert, Silber und Gold. Falt- und Deckstäbe aus Perlmutt, handgesägt und fein durchbrochen gearbeitet sowie mit Buketts und vegetabilen Ornamenten, umrankt von Rocaillen, dekoriert mit Silber und Gold. Fächerblatt aus Pergament, kunstvoll bemalt mit einer mythologischen Szene, begleitet von Putti in Kartuschen und umgeben von einem breiten Fries von Grotesken. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Altrest.
H. 48,5, B. 25,5 cm. In rocaillebekröntem, verglasten Schaukasten.

Magnificent folding fan with mythological depictions and putti, framed by grotesques. Probably Austria circa 1880. Gouache over pencil on parchment, mother-of-pearl, partially engraved, silver and gold. Signs of age and use. Restored. In a glass-front showcase, decorated with rocailles.
