Die Ente Hintha (Hanth oder Hamsa) wird im religiösen Brauchtum Thailands sehr verehrt. In der hinduistischen Mythologie ist sie das Reittier des Schöpfergottes Brahma.

The duck Hintha (Hantha or Hamsa) is very revered in the religious traditions of Thailand. In Hindu mythology Hintha is the mount of creator god Brahma.
