Mother of God of the Sign with prophets. Russia 18th C. Egg tempera over chalk and gold ground on panel. Frontal depiction of Madonna with child, both hands held heavenwards in prayer and surrounded by twelve prophets. Signs of age, worm damage, retouching.

Russland 18. Jh. Eitempera über Kreide- und Goldgrund auf Holz. Frontale Darstellung der Madonna mit dem Kind, beide Hände zum Gebet gen Himmel gerichtet, und umgeben von zwölf Propheten. Altersspuren, wurmstichig, Retuschen.
