The travel report by Commodore Anson is considered as the most popular book about seafaring of the 18th C. He undertook a circumnavigation in the course of the War of Jenkin's Ear 1739 - 1744.

Als das populärste Buch zur Seefahrt des 18. Jahrhunderts gilt der Reisebericht von Commodore Anson, der 1739 - 1744 im Zuge des englisch-spanischen Kolonialkrieges eine Weltumsegelung unternahm.
