In 1913 Martin Lehmann founded an advertising agency in Berlin-Steglitz with his brother Walter, whereupon the brothers adopted the double name «Lehmann-Steglitz». In their agency, countless graphics and illustrations were created, including the film poster for «Die Nibelungen» by Fritz Lang.
