Big Kalliope music box
Kalliope Musikwerke AG, Leipzig around 1900. Wood, iron, brass and bone. Four feet, rectangular case, hinged lid with surrounding bone inlay and engraved manufacturer's mark, on the front seller's mark «C.A. Bauer Dresden - N.», inside the lid a chromolithograph depicting a landscape. Perforated disc and comb musical mechanism with spring-wound movement.
Comes with eleven perforated discs (Diam. 33,5 cm).
