Menological icon for the month of July. Moscow school circa 1800. Egg tempera over linen, chalk and gold ground on panel. Full figured representation of the saints and festivities of the month of July in four horizontal registers, framed by twelve depictions of the Mother of God. Verso a label of Gallery Erich Beckmann, Hanover, with the work's data Minor signs of age.
