As part of the «Schildserie (shield series)», this work by Holzhuber fell into a period of his life in which the artist had to find his way «in a completely unknown world» due to his move in 1979 from Barcelona to Amsterdam, and the work process supported him in protecting the «[...] vulnerability that had developed.» from: Sebastian Holzhuber,
