«These pictures bear the simple title ‹House› because I feel the human body as a dwelling, as a shelter, as a ‹house› for the soul and the spirit. They are so-called realisations in colour + form. The body, the house in which the soul and the spirit dwell. [...] As is well known, there is a lot of bipolarity in every person. Therefore, when painting a ‹house›, I have to strive to make these opposites visible. [...] The human being is at the centre of my interest. I am not only moved by their outer appearance; I also want to experience their inner life. My task is to make the trinity, body - soul - spirit, visible.
