Roman bronze jug
Probably 1st - 2nd C. AD. Bronze, with age patina. Three zoomorphic feet, spherical body, filling hole framed by a shoulder ring. Spout, further tubular opening and elongated handle.
H 7,5, W 18,5 cm.
Provenance: according to the consignor purchased in the art trade before 1974; since then private collection Dreisamtal.

Römische Bronzekanne
Wohl 1. - 2. Jh. n. Chr. Bronze, mit Alterspatina. Drei zoomorphe Füße, kugelförmiger Korpus, Einfüllloch von einem Schulterring umrahmt. Ausguss, weitere rohrförmige Öffnung und länglicher Griff.
H. 7,5, B. 18,5 cm.
Provenienz: laut Angabe des Einlieferers erworben vor 1974 im Kunsthandel; seitdem Privatsammlung Dreisamtal.
