From 1972 onwards, Brodwolf worked on the implementation of classical works in his art. He created several cycles on Giotto, Jacopo Bellini, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, for example, in which he «paraphrased» the motifs. These works are a homage to the past artists of the time, in which the human figure also takes centre stage.
