Belle Époque bee brooch with diamonds and sapphire
France around 1900. Red gold 18k and platinum (tested). Semi-sculptural bee, wings and abdomen set with 57 diamond roses weighing in total approx. 1,03 carats SI, wesselton, on the back a sapphire cabochon weighing approx. 0,30 carats, as eyes two single-cut rubies weighing in total 0,10 carats. Hallmark.
Can also be worn as a brooch when bail is covered.
