«Wolken-Studie. (cloud-study.)». Fair weather clouds over the gently sloping mountain peaks near Hinterzarten.
Oil on canvas, mounted on cardboard. Signed lower left and dated «IV.19.». Verso on the artist's original label signed again, titled, dated 1919 probably by a different hand and inscribed «Bei Hinterzarten (near Hinterzarten)». Below on a label of the Galerie Meier, Freiburg i.Br., inscribed by hand with the place and the date of the exhibition as well as a printed label with the work's data.
