Sitting Lama
Tibet 17th/18th C. Bronze, fire-gilt. A Lama in a robe with richly and finely chiselled borders is seated on a double lotus throne. In his left hand he holds the Three Jewels or Cintamani Jewel, the right hand in the vitarka mudra. On the front of the base an engraved inscription, partly continuing to the right. Closed, engraved base plate with cross vajra.
H 20, W 14,5 cm.
