Comtoise clock. France circa 1780. Iron, brass and bronze. Eight-day movement, half hour striking on a bell, verge escapement. Good age-related condition. Dial probably renewed. Key missing. Holder, pendulum and weights.

Frankreich um 1780. Eisen, Messing und Bronze. Rechteckiges Geh”use. Bronzezier in Gestalt einer Sonne und Rocailledekor. Emailzifferblatt mit r–mischer Minuterie, Messingzeiger. Acht-Tage-Gehwerk mit Schlag auf Glocke zur halben und vollen Stunde, Spindelhemmung. Guter, altersbedingter Zustand. Zifferblatt wohl erg. Schl¸ssel fehlt. H. 39, B. 24,5, T. 14 cm. Bock, Pendel und Gewichte.
