Triptych. «Abendkühle in Ryōgoku (cool of the evening in Ryōgoku)». Woodcut in colours on Japon. Two fields signed and inscribed lower left, one field lower right in the block. One field titled upper right in vertical cartridge. Each with editor mark and censor's seal next to the signature.
H 36, W 76,5 cm (passepartout). Framed.
The student of Toyokuni I is also called Utagawa Kunisada and dedicated his artistic work to the multifaceted presentation of actors and beautiful women.

Triptychon. «Abendkühle in Ryōgoku». Farbholzschnitt auf Japanpapier. Zwei Bildfelder im Stock u.l., eines u.r. sign. und bez. Ein Bildfeld o.r. in vertikaler Kartusche bet. Neben der Signatur jeweils Verlegermarke und Zensorensiegel.
H. 36, B. 76,5 cm (Passepartoutausschnitt). Gerahmt.
Der Schüler des Toyokuni I. wird auch als Utagawa Kunisada geführt und widmete sein künstlerisches Werk der facettenreichen Darstellung von Schauspielern und schönen Frauen.
