The P series differed from previous models primarily in its design, which, now somewhat larger and more angular, was to characterise the look of the Italian scooter classic for many years. With a larger front fairing and integrated luggage compartment, and for the first time equipped with indicators as standard, the scooter was a high-volume success from 1977 onwards. In the meantime, it has become a sought-after vintage scooter with its large 200 cm³ engine.
