Höchst dining service with covered tureens, openworked plates and sauce boats
Höchst last third 18th C. Porcelain, painted in polychrome colours and gold. 32 pieces. Including one oval tureen with lid, one round tureen with lid, two oval serving platters, one round serving bowl, two triangular serving bowls, one rhomb-shaped serving bowl, two navette-shaped sauce boats, 16 dining plates with profiled border and six dessert plates with curved openworked border. Fine decoration of floral bouquets with purple accents and gold rim. Oval tureen with lid topped with various beans and root vegetables, cauliflower as a knob, round tureen with apple as knob. Underglaze blue wheel mark as well as partially blind-stamped or incised marks and signs, e. g. «B I», «B 17», «B 23», «B 27», «N 1», «7 NI», «N 10», «N 16», «N 23» and «EI N».

Condition report
Small production-related fire damages, hairline cracks and uneven execution. Oval tureen has multiple chips on the lid, body chipped on lip, stand and one bean, partially rubbed overglaze painting. Round tureen chipped on the rim of the body and lid, also chipped on leaf on the lid, on the wall of the body all-round two parallel grinding marks (each
3,5 mm wide). Gold rim rubbed on oval serving platters as well as the border of the larger platter chipped, smaller platter slightly rubbed overglaze painting. Round bowl with tiny chipping
(3 mm) on the rim, rubbed gold rim, production-related cracks and rubbed on the overglaze painting. Triangular serving bowls minor to slight rubbing and small chipping on gold rim, one with longer production-related burn cracks in the well and tears on the border. Rhomb-shaped bowl minor rubbing on the gold rim and hardly visible, production-related hairline cracks in the well. One sauce boat strongly chipped on the stand, minor rubbing and small chipping
(3 mm) on the gold rim as well as a thin, hardly visible hair line crack, the other sauce boat has minor rubbing on the gold rim.
