Art Nouveau table lamp with water lily base
Daum Frères, Nancy probably circa 1910. Gilt bronze as well as colourless glass with powder fusions in yellow, red and violet. Delicate base in the shape of a water lily with leaf and open flower and three outswinging buds on the shaft. Above rises the calyx-shaped lamp shade that opens upwards. Badly legible etch mark on the lip of the lamp shade, probably «DAUM NANCY» with the cross of Lorraine.
