Teller aus dem
Plate from the 2nd Potsdam service. KPM, Berlin circa 1768. Model «Reliefzierat». Porcelain, painted in polychrome colours and gold. Bouquet of flowers in the well, relief rod and rocaille decoration with flower tendrils and garlands on the cavetto. Underglaze blue sceptre mark and form number «003». Gold rubbed. Stand ring slightly chipped.

In 1765 Frederick II ordered the 1st Potsdam service for the New Palace in Potsdam. Based on this model, the 2nd Potsdam Service was produced, which was also delivered in identical design to Frederick's brother-in-law, Margrave Karl Alexander von Brandenburg-Ansbach. The model was continued under the name «Reliefzierat» in different variations by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory (KPM).
