Large Empire candelabrum with serpent decoration
Johann Martin Schott, Frankfurt a.M. circa 1820. Silver. Round foot, shaft with palmette decoration, relief depiction of snake dancers and the allegory of music. Three arms as Midgard serpents. Maker's mark and town mark. Restored.
