Atlas Universel de Géographie ancienne et moderne
Published by Pierre M. Lapie and Alexandre Emile Lapie. Probably Paris, Fruger, 1823 (1833 released), title pages missing. With index, 100 p. introduction and 50 hand-coloured engraved maps, the first two maps not coloured following the edition. Half calf with embossed and gilt title on spine.

Condition report
Good, age-related condition. Half-title, title and foreword dedicated to the king missing, therefore dating and identification of the edition only possible on basis of page count. Foxing and partially stained as well as further stains, presumably from the printing process, here and there marginal defects with small splits, partially mended, the rear part of the maps' block waterstained at the lower margin. All maps with an oval dry stamp, plate 1 and 2 bound in reverse order. Binding rubbed, leather scraped, edges and corners slightly rubbed and bumped.
