The model is a unique work in patinated cast iron for the large sculpture «Berührung (touch)» in the Loretto Park in Mosbach, which was erected on the occasion of the Landesgartenschau in 1997. Two crescent-shaped elements move towards each other and seam to touch at their tips. The model embodies Wagner's characteristic formal language, which focuses on central human themes by reducing them to the essentials and juxtaposing them with tension.
