Inscribed mirror-inverted «sehen + gesehen werden - gesehen werden + dan [sic!] gehen - für Sächle am 15.10.71 - 17:15 (see + be seen - be seen + then go - for Sächle on 15.10.71 - 17:15)» middle right in the plate and inscribed «n. Yoshiaki (after Yoshiaki)» lower right.

Work from an edition of 50 signed and numbered copies, originally published as one of eight loose supplements to «Japanische Handzeichnungen» from 1975. Published by Gerhard Schack at Christians Verlag, Hamburg. Printed by Hartmut Frielinghaus, Hamburg.
Because of his passion for collecting, Gerhard Schack was also called «Sächle» (which translates to «litte things»), in reference to the small Japanese figures he collected and which his Swabian relatives called «Sächle».
