Pair of wall appliqués with Bourbon coat of arms and with flowers and birds
France late 19th C. Porcelain, painted in polychrome colours as well as gilt bronze. Porcelain three-light candleholder mounted on bronze rail with gilt Bourbon coat of arms with three fleur-de-lys. Three-dimensional singing birds sitting on the curved, turquoise and pink-coloured arms. On the arms and in the niches fine floral applications. Underglaze blue mark with cross and dot on one of the candleholders.
H 28,7, W 24,3, D 13,3 cm.
Condition report
Flowers partially scuffed, one candleholder with two restored arms, the other one with a broken but restored arm, tip of the tail of one bird restored and one scuffed.
