Neoclassical facade cabinet
North Germany circa 1820. Veneered walnut, mahogany, solid, and brass. Four block feet, straight body with two doors and a large drawer with two laurel wreath-shaped handles. The front with austere pilasters, crowned by antiqued, fanciful capitals with fluted abacus, interlaced wavy band and guttae, supporting a centrally elevated entablature with profiled cornice. Quarter-columns in the corners. Original lock and fittings.
