Gallant Meissen porcelain medallion with chain
Meissen 1774-1814 as well as Germany around 1840 (frame pendant) and Germany 20th C. (necklace). Yellow gold 18k (pendant) and yellow gold 8k (necklace). Venetian chain. Oval porcelain medallion depicting a gallant scene with children in a garden. The young admirer adorns a girl sitting in a back view with a wreath of blossoms and a bouquet of flowers. In a smooth oval frame, verso engraved several times with the names and genealogical data of the wearers «Auguste Richter née Gleißner * 1.8.1944 in Zangenberg b. Zeitz», «Helene Weber née Richter *16.1.1878 in Leumnitz Reuß i.L.» and «Ija Weber née Chrismann *12.3.1903 in Heidelberg». Underglaze blue sword mark with star, hallmark and maker's mark «B in heart and star symbol» (chain), not interpreted.
