«Au palais borgues». India ink on tracing paper, mounted on backing cardboard. Unsigned. Titled lower left. Numbered «177» by a different hand lower right. Verso on the passepartout cardboard an authentication by André Schoeller, Paris, with a confirmation by Raoul Solar.
Original drawing No. 177 initially as an addition to the canvas box «DAVID, Naissance du génie d'un peintre» with 289 facsimile depictions, published in 1953 in an edition of 157 copies, each with an authentic work by Jacques-Louis David.

Originalzeichnung Nr. 177 ursprünglich als Beigabe der Leinwandbox «DAVID, Naissance du génie d'un peintre» mit 289 Faksimiledarstellungen, erschienen 1953 in einer Auflage von 157 Exemplaren, jeweils mit einem authentischen Werk von Jacques-Louis David.
