Geneva circa 1900. Yellow gold 14k. Smooth, round three-lid case, spring cover with engraved coat of arms. Enamel dial with Arabic minute scale and minute ring, gilt Louis XVI hands. Inner lid and movement inscribed «Audemars Frères Brassus & Genève». Gilt crown winding movement. Case number «137602». Hallmark and manufacturer's mark.

After their father Charles Henri Audemars Senior had to file for bankruptcy with his company Louis Audemars & Fils in 1885, his sons Charles-Henri Junior and Hector Adolphe Audemars founded the watch manufactory Audemars Frères in Le Brassus and Geneva.
