Ritualsymbol Tsung

China, wohl späte Zhou-Periode. Grau-güner und partiell brauner Nephrit, geschnitten und poliert. Zylindrische Röhrenform, seitlich Taotie-Masken. Archaischer Stil. Altersspuren. H. 14, B. 8 cm.
Das Erdsymbol Tsung besteht aus einer zylindrischen, leicht quadratischen Röhre, die Form leitet sich von der chinesischen Vorstellung der Erde als Quadrat ab.
