Pair of gold earrings with granulation
Probably Roman 2nd - 3rd C. AD. Yellow gold 22k (tested). Front in the form of a stylized figure with volute decoration, thereon four small spheres with granule decoration. Slightly chipped, pressure marks.
H 4,4 cm. 7,9 g.
Provenance: according to the consignor purchased in the Galerie Peter Lankoff in 1971, Freiburg i.Br.; since then private collection Dreisamtal.

Wohl Römisch 2. - 3. Jh. n. Chr. GG 22 Kt. (geprüft). Bogenbrisur mit Schauseite als stilisierte Figur mit Volutendekor, daran vier kleine Kugeln mit Granulatdekor. Min. best., Druckstellen.
