Portfolio consisting of seven mixed media on wove paper, mounted under passepartout, and three silver gelatin prints on Agfa baryta paper, also mounted under passepartout, in original half-linen folder. Mixed media each signed lower middle and dated (19)81 respectively (19)79. Photographs unsigned. The inner cover of the folder signed again, titled and dated (19)81. On the inside a mounted personal dedication to the collector.

During his creative period, Hofschen repeatedly occupied himself with the relationship between surfaces, their connections through seams, and the tensions they created. This portfolio contains seven mixed media on this issue and three black-and-white photographs on the subject of surfaces in architecture.

Portfolio, bestehend aus sieben Mischtechniken auf Velin, unter Passepartout montiert, sowie drei Silbergelatineabzüge auf Agfa-Barytpapier, ebenfalls unter Passepartout montiert, in originaler Halbleinenmappe. Mischtechniken jeweils Mitte u. sign. und (19)81 bzw. (19)79 dat. Photographien unsign. Die Mappe im Innendeckel nochmals sign., bet. und (19)81 dat. Im Innenteil montierte persönliche Widmung an den Sammler.

Das Verhältnis von Flächen, deren Verbindungen durch Nähte und die daraus entstehenden Spannungen beschäftigen Hofschen während seiner Schaffensphase immer wieder. Das vorliegende Mappenwerk beinhaltet sieben Mischtechniken zu dieser Thematik und drei Schwarz-Weiß Photographien zum Thema Flächen in der Architektur.
